Pool Harbour, part 7

It will be a short blog today, because I took 'Sandpiper' out of the water early this morning at Redcliffe Farm. Conditions were ideal - no wind and no current. The slipway at the farm has a gentle gradient which necessitated retrieving the boat with a rope - strictly against the rules, but at 0630 I was the only one there.

All went well, but I noticed that the luff spar may have been bent at the lower end. I shall have to examine it when I'm back home. 'Sandpiper' was out in a brisk wind yesterday, and the luff spar may have been severely strained.

At the moment I have no plans to sail further west. Maybe I'll try a bit of East Coast sailing.

Thanks for following my blog and for the comments which are always welcome.
