I have been a recreational sailor for many years, with a particular interest in small sailing craft; therefore much of the content of my 'blog' will be related to this subject.

‘Little Cruiser’, Dave and Mindy Bolduc
A fabulous Matt Layden boat, ‘Little Cruiser’ is owned by the Bolducs. They did a big refit of the 15’ boat and finished it in 2006. Mindy wrote an account of a cruise they had in her after the re-commissioning. Over a three week period they explored the Outer Banks, which are not far from their home state of North Carolina. Their route took them to Core Sound, Pamlico Sound, Neuse River, Croatan Sound, Roanoke Sound and Albermarle Sound. You can read the article by visiting the link below: ‘2006 Cruise’. This page will also take you to video clips of the cruise.
Their web site is packed with information about small sailboat cruising – probably the best example of this sort of thing on the Net - highly recommended. The web site has a large gallery of first-class photos taken by Dave and Mindy while out on the water with ‘Little Cruiser’. Oh, and the Inventory list is mind-boggling. (See link below.)
Incidentally, Dave is the agent for the plans of Matt Layden’s ‘Paradox’. He can be contacted at: mbolduc@triad.rr.com , or write to him at this address –
