Today I bought and fitted an anodized alloy support bracket
for stowing the yuloh. I have to make a fixture for securing the shaft end of
the yuloh to the foredeck.
These fittings must retain the yuloh when not in use, and yet
they must allow immediate access to it.
I have not followed Matt’s plan in this respect, but I think
the arrangement will be satisfactory; in fact, I think it will be stronger than
loops of brass tubing as shown on the plan.
