AfterToday’s contribution towards completing ‘Sharpy’ was the addition of backing pieces for the butt joint between the bottom panels. After applying epoxy to the appropriate surfaces I tacked them into place, but I did not fully hammer the tacks home, so that I shall be able to withdraw them when the epoxy has hardened. To make a strong bond I sealed the edges with epoxy putty.
