Brailing line and fairlead
Being able to reef the sail quickly and easily is important;
therefore I replaced the experimental polypropylene luff lacing with a permanent
Terylene one, and I devised a dedicated reefing snotter. I also exchanged the rope
horse for a new one. To prevent the brailing line from being jigged up the mast
and out of reach, I added a fairlead and a hook for the tail.
These changes have made it so much easier to reef the sail.
