The above photos are of a 16’ GRP Falmouth Bass Boat seen at
Hullbridge Yacht Club. The original 14’ Bass Boat was designed by Rodney
Warrington-Smythe for amateur construction in plywood. Hard-chined, she was
relatively simple to build. Over the years since the early 1950s the design has
evolved. Today there’s a 20’ version and an 8’ Baby Bass Boat with a junk sail!

The Bass boat really is among the sailing boat icons, I just love them.
I've always liked them, but somehow never got around to buying one.
