Twenty-thirteen is a continuum of twenty-twelve. There is no
difference. The world continues revolving around the sun, and the moon revolves
around the earth. There are no actual divisions between spring and summer,
autumn and winter; all are one. There are transitions of the seasons as they
merge with no identifiable beginnings, ends or changes. We all exist within
absolute time and space, but perceive them as relative, i.e., we observe the
motion of the moon and sun from relative spaces.
Each one of us subjectively tunes into our internal clock;
we know when we are young, aging and when we are old. We have a concept of body
age and of body time. The elderly swear that days become shorter as they grow
older – for them time speeds up. Days become like hours and minutes pass as
seconds. Years flash by faster than the speed of light. Before they know it,
there are wrinkles on the backs of their hands and furrows across their brow.
No longer can they stand upright or flex their limbs as in their youth, and their
eyes grow dim.
The beginning and the end to a man’s life is relative within
the absolute, and life itself exists within the eternal.
Ecclesiastes 12:1 ‘Remember
now your Creator in the days of your youth, before the difficult days come, and
the years draw near when you say, “I have no pleasure in them.”’
