When I bought ‘Sandpiper’ I noticed that she did not fit
perfectly on the support rollers. The one at the aft end was too low which
meant there was an unfair load on the forward ones and the rubber supports
either side amidships.
Today I built a simple bracket from an old piece of timber
and plywood offcuts.
On arrival at a slipway I must first remove the bracket
before launching ‘Sandpiper’. Total time for taking the bracket off will be no
more than a minute.
