I have been a recreational sailor for many years, with a particular interest in small sailing craft; therefore much of the content of my 'blog' will be related to this subject.

Gaff Cutter seen at Walton
Any yacht a bit out of the ordinary, then I’m there looking at her to see what I can learn. I stumbled across this small gaff cutter in the basin by the Walton and Frinton Yacht Club. I think she must be someone’s home.
Text for the Day
Genesis 22:13, 14 ‘Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up as a burnt offering instead of his son. And Abraham called the name of the place, The-LORD-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the LORD it shall be provided.”

Fernando Costa, from Brazil
Good link - good cause - brave bloke.
ReplyDeleteThank you Fernando.
Bill.
Thank you too Master Bill.
ReplyDeleteI think it would be great if you publish a post about Matt Rutherford adventure on your blog.
But this, of course, is a simple suggestion.
Good winds and congratulations for your excellent log master Bill.

P. S.: To be clear, Matt needs some money to continue his odyssey.
At the moment Fernando I am struggling with my blog. I'm finding it difficult to keep it going.
ReplyDeleteMaybe if I'm successful in starting another project I may summon up enough energy to keep it going.
Cheers,
Bill.
This news made me sad master Bill
ReplyDeleteYour blog is so precious.
I hope you find a way to keep him alive.
I think before you stop publishing your valuable posts, you could reduce the frequency of publications.
But stop completely, it would be tragic for your readers.
Health and fair winds for you !
Fernando,
ReplyDeleteI am hoping to start a new project, which will entail selling 'Talitha', my small keelboat to help fund the project.
Things are a little uncertain, until they chrystallize, but as soon as I am sure how things are going I'll make it known on the blog.
A new project will give me the stimulus to continue the blog. I'm forever seeking new challenges. As I get older, they get harder!
Bill.
